An Older Story -- Revisited To Tell a Tale Of Caution...

Remember Jessica Lynch? The tale of ' heroism' in the early days of the Iraq war? I haven't, and it seems the Guardian hasn't either ( I use her story while instructing troops to emphasize the importance of basic soldier skills --- something completly lacking by the the participants of that whole sorry saga ) and has a story about how the military manipulated -- or allowed itself to be manipulated by those in search of a saga of valor under arms. Well worth a read....
